The Good: The National Institute of Health is sponsoring a government program that could radically change the lives of those with rare diseases.

 

The Bad: All those who donate blood raise your hand.

Microsoft and LifeLock

The Good: Microsoft finally withdrew its bid for Yahoo yesterday.

 

The Bad: LifeLock is a service that is supposed to protect subscribers from identity theft and fraud.
