The Bad: Did you ever think that sleep could be bad for you? A study at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill recently studied women at risk for stroke and the amount of time that they slept. Now this study yielded some interesting results. The researchers found that women who didn’t sleep between 6.5 and 7.5 hours had a higher risk of stroke than the women who slept between 6.5 and 7.5 hours a night. Now the researchers were not sure why things were this way and what made the women more likely to have a stroke, but the research defiantly showed that it is better to get more sleep than less. Women who had less than 6.5 hours of sleep were the most likely of any of the groups tested to have a stroke. So close your eyes and take a nap ladies.

I just hit my 36 hours sleepless as a record after 8 years. Good research point to share. Try to get sleep as normal is impossible these days, with tons of workloads and pressures. I’m trying to avoid medications as trying different method such as exercising, wake up early in the morning, skipping afternoon nap, etc.. hopefully, can meet the min sleeping hours sooner.
Good idea Atniz. I think the best thing to do is set a deadline for yourself. Determine you are going to sleep X amount of hours. Then make sure you are in bed a X + a half hours before you have to get up. That way its not something thats just going to happen, its planned.
