Done.

Posted in Opinion by Amanda Roberts on Apr 3, 2008

I’m tired. I’m tired of the recession cries, the election confusion, and the low approval rates. I’m tired of our people dying because of not having health insurance. I’m tired of hearing stories of mysterious cancer and studies of child abuse.

I’m tired of Go Green only meaning be fashionable. I’m tired of war, poverty, famine and global warming. I’m tired of Who’s Who of the celebrity world taking precedent over the real world. I’m tired of ten second marriages and hate speech. I’m tired of planning for disaster and wondering when we will hit rock bottom. I’m tired of not being able to know where I will raise my children or if there will be a future for them to see. I’m tired of more emphasis being placed on the smallest cell phone or computer than the artificial heart. I’m tired of watching my family members be slaves to diseases we can’t cure. I’m tired of the medicine used to cure people causing their lives to not be worth living.

I’m tired of this country. Call me an expat but I’m sick of this. I’m done. When you come up with a solution, let me know.

  1. I couldn’t agree anymore.

“I’m tired of Go Green only meaning be fashionable.”
