Well that day of love is here once again, and more than one person out there is feeling bitter. So for all of you out there that want to retaliate against Valentines, I am glad to give you some opinions.
The newest launched coping device began Wednesday and was created by a woman named Kathleen Horan after the failure of her own relationship. When Kathleen had to write an obituary for her father shortly after her relationship ended, she felt uplifted, so she decided to do the same for her dead relationships. The resulting site, RelationshipObit.com, is a place for jilted lovers to share their feelings on the death of the relationship through written and recorded obituaries.
Another option (though not recommended) is to make an uber-funny YouTube video about your ex or dumb boyfriend and tell the world what a spaz he/she is/was.Warning: Video contains explicit language.
And last but certainly not least, my favorite of all the coping options is the wedding ring coffin. While originally designed to give divorced couples a way to “bury the past” (literally), but it could be used by anyone who was in a hostile relationship. Customize your coffin with a name plate baring your sentiments on the relationship and then close the lid and begin a new life. While designed for rings, any jewelry piece or small momentum could be laid to rest in this elegant coffin.
Happy Valentine’s Day, and have a great time coping with this commercialized holiday.
